Terms of Service

AffluentRides is a digital mobility platform that connects car owners with individuals or organizations seeking to rent vehicles with chauffeur services (or no chauffeur if stated). Our services are designed to facilitate secure, convenient, and professional luxury vehicle rentals and fleet monetization.

These Terms apply to:

• Car renters (users who book vehicles)
• Car owners (users who list vehicles)
• All visitors or users interacting with the platform

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use AffluentRides. By registering or using our services, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements.

To access most services, users must create an account and provide personal and, where applicable, business information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.

AffluentRides reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false, incomplete, or misleading information.

By using AffluentRides, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for its intended lawful purposes
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Abide by all applicable laws and regulations
• Refrain from tampering with or misusing the platform
• Treat all personnel, drivers, vehicles, and other users with respect

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of access to the platform.

a. Booking

All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed via the platform. Rental requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance where possible.

b. Chauffeur Policy

All rentals are chauffeur-driven by default unless explicitly stated otherwise in the booking. Renters are not permitted to drive the vehicle under any circumstance.

c. Vehicle Return

Renters are not required to return the vehicle themselves. Upon conclusion of the booking, the driver will return the vehicle to AffluentRides or the designated drop-off location.

d. Fuel Policy

All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel. Renters are not responsible for refueling.

e. Cancellations

Bookings may be cancelled at any time. However, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be subject to a cancellation fee, as communicated during the booking process.

a. Vehicle Listing

Car owners must provide accurate details and up-to-date documentation, including proof of ownership, insurance, vehicle license, roadworthiness certification, and any other legally required documents.

b. Vehicle Condition

Vehicles must be in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition. AffluentRides reserves the right to inspect and reject listings that do not meet these standards.

c. Vehicle Availability and Arrival

The vehicle and designated driver must arrive at AffluentRides' office at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled rental time, with a full fuel tank. Failure to comply may result in penalties or forfeiture of the booking.

d. Earnings and Payouts

Car owners will receive 60% of the booking fee, credited to their internal balance on the next business day following the rental. Payouts to bank accounts can be requested at any time and will be processed within 24 business hours.

AffluentRides may impose administrative fees or penalties in accordance with the Owner Agreement or these Terms.

All rental payments must be made in full prior to the commencement of the service. We accept secure payment methods including debit/credit cards and bank transfers.

Applicable fees may include:

• Service charges
• Late cancellation or no-show fees
• Administrative or processing fees
• Penalties for breach of Terms or platform guidelines

All fees will be clearly disclosed during the relevant transaction or booking flow.

Our collection and use of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. Information collected may include, but is not limited to, location data, personal identifiers, device data, and vehicle documentation.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers (e.g., identity verification partners, payment processors) or regulatory authorities where required by law.

All listed vehicles must be insured by the owner. In the event of an incident or accident, applicable insurance policies will be activated. AffluentRides shall not be held liable for:

• Any damage caused by misuse of a vehicle
• Delays due to force majeure or third-party issues
• Losses resulting from false or incomplete information provided by users

Our total liability in any matter arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid to us for the transaction in question.

AffluentRides reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies.

Users may also choose to deactivate or delete their account at any time. Upon account termination, any outstanding balances or obligations will be settled in accordance with our policies.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations, or operational procedures. We may provide notice of any material changes via email or through the platform. Please check this page regularly to stay informed. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
